This guide walks you through the three ways to process payments and check out clients using the FurFlow mobile app. Whether you're charging from a general point of sale or directly from an appointment or contact record, the process is quick and easy.

Option 1: Process a Generic Point of Sale (POS) Payment

  1. Tap the dollar sign icon in the bottom centre of the app.

  2. Enter the total amount to be charged (e.g., $65).

  3. Tap Review.

  4. Select or add a customer (e.g., search for an existing contact).

  5. The item will show as a Custom Item. You can:

    • Add a discount

    • Set a payment schedule

    • Or simply continue to process the payment

  6. Tap Choose Payment Instrument and select your method (e.g., cash, manual, etc.).

  7. (Optional) Add a note.

  8. Tap Submit to complete the transaction. The payment will be recorded on the contact's profile.

Option 2: Process a Payment from an Appointment

  1. Go to the Appointments tab.

  2. Tap on the appointment in question.

  3. Tap the contact's name under "Attendees".

  4. On the right-hand side, tap Charge.

  5. Tap Catalog to select a service (e.g., Bath and Dry → Large).

  6. Tap Add, then Review.

  7. (Optional) Apply a discount.

  8. Tap Choose Payment Instrument (cash, card on file, etc.).

  9. Tap Submit.

? If a card is already on file (added via the desktop version), you can use it directly in the mobile app.

Option 3: Charge a Client from Their Contact Profile

  1. Tap the Contacts tab (bottom right).

  2. Select the client’s profile.

  3. Tap Charge on the right-hand side.

    • Enter a custom amount via the keypad, or

    • Tap Catalog and select products/services.

  5. Adjust quantities if needed (e.g., 3 × Test Product = $300).

  6. Tap Review.

  7. Select a payment method and tap Submit.
