This article explains the additional functionality found within the Contact Details area of the Contacts tab in your CRM. These features help streamline your workflow, track key client and pet details, and quickly send or review waivers and reports.
Overview of Contact Details Tabs
When viewing a contact, you’ll notice multiple expandable tabs that contain important information. Here’s a breakdown of each section:
General Info
Basic information including the pet owner’s name and primary pet.
You can toggle between pets if multiple are listed.
Upload a pet image for easy visual reference.
Optional address details such as suburb, city, and country.
Additional Info
Includes behavioural or medical notes.
These fields are auto-filled from your online booking intake form.
Information can be manually added or customised.
Waivers
Displays a list of available waivers (e.g. Anxious Dog, Matting Policy).
Once a client signs a waiver, their signature will appear under the corresponding waiver title.
This gives you quick visual confirmation of which waivers have been signed.
End of Groom Report
Shows the most recent grooming report, including before/after photos and standard or customised fields.
Older reports are stored in the Notes section (covered in the next video).
This area allows fast access to the latest grooming outcomes.
New Client Agreement Signature
Similar to waivers, this displays the client’s signature for their signed agreement.
Calendar Intake Form
Shows services the client selected when booking online.
Provides an easy reference to client preferences.
Understanding Tags
Tags play a crucial role in FurFlow and are used to:
Trigger waiver sends (e.g. Anxious Dog, Special Handling).
Automate future reminders (e.g. Reschedule Reminder).
Manage communication (e.g. Blacklist).
Sending Waivers Using Tags
Click the tag field within the contact.
Select a waiver-related tag (e.g. Senior Dog).
The waiver is automatically sent to the client via SMS or email.
Once signed, the signature appears in the Waivers section.
Tag Examples
Waivers: Anxious Dog, Cat Grooming, Flea & Tick, Medical Issues, etc.
System Tags:
Appointment Transfer: Used during data migration to avoid duplicate notifications.
Blacklist: Prevents a client from contacting you through SMS, email, or messenger.
Reschedule Reminder: Automatically added after an appointment. Triggers reminder messages after a set period (e.g. 12 weeks).
Automations (Workflows)
Automations allow you to trigger sequences such as:
Marketing emails for promotions or product offers.
Reminders for appointments or service updates.
Key Points:
Access automations from the Automation tab in the contact record.
Add the contact to a predefined workflow (e.g. Anxious Dog Waiver Workflow).
Custom workflows can be created to match your business needs (covered in later videos).
