Managing client contacts is crucial for smooth salon operations and providing excellent service. In FurFlow, adding and managing your client contacts is straightforward. Here's a guide on how to add a new client and keep their details organised.

1. Navigating to the Contacts Section

To start, go to the Contacts section from the left-hand menu. This is where all your client and pet information is stored.

2. Adding a New Client

To add a new client, follow these steps:

  • Click on Add Contact.

  • Enter the client’s details: full name, email address, phone number, and any other relevant information.

  • If this is for a pet, you can add the pet's details (name, breed, and other specifics).

  • Once you've entered all the necessary details, click Save.

This will create a new contact record, which you can refer to for scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and tracking grooming history.

3. Assigning Tasks to Clients

Once a client is added, you can assign tasks related to them, such as reminders or special instructions for their grooming appointments.

4. Editing Client Information

To update a client’s information, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Contacts section.

  • Find the client you want to edit.

  • Click on their name to open their contact profile.

  • Update the necessary information and click Save.

5. Viewing Client Contact History

In the contact profile, you can see:

  • The client’s previous grooming history.

  • Notes related to their pet (e.g. behavioural notes, coat condition, etc.).

  • Tasks that have been assigned to the client or pet.

6. Removing a Client

If you need to delete a contact, navigate to the contact profile and click Delete. This will remove them from your system.

This process ensures that you have all the relevant details for your clients and their pets in one place, making it easier to manage appointments, tasks, and reports.
