The Calendars tab is one of the most important tools for managing your daily workflow. It allows you to view appointments, create or adjust bookings, block out time, and filter what’s displayed—all from your mobile device.
Viewing the Calendar
You can choose from three standard calendar views:
Day View
Week View
Month View
Toggle between these using the options at the top of the screen.
If you're not seeing many appointments, make sure you're on the right date and the correct users are selected.
Viewing Appointments by Team Member
To customise which team members’ calendars you see:
Tap the user icon in the bottom corner.
Select one or more team members (groomers).
The calendar will now show appointments for only those selected users.
This is ideal if you only want to view your own column or need to see the availability of specific staff.
Navigating Dates
Tap any date to jump straight to it.
Tap Today to return to the current date.
This makes it easy to move between days without scrolling manually.
Booking Appointments
You can book appointments directly from the calendar:
Tap the blue New button.
The appointment form will open (same as in the Contact section).
Select a contact, service, and time.
You must select a contact before saving. If you forget, the system will prompt you to add one.
Recommendation
For ease of use, we recommend booking appointments directly from the Contacts tab, where the client and pet are pre-filled automatically.
Blocking Out Time
To block out unavailable time (e.g., lunch breaks, grooming prep, admin time):
Tap New, then choose Block Time.
Set the time and team member (e.g., Aaron).
Save the block—no title is required.
The time slot will appear greyed out in the calendar.
Filtering by Service or Category
You can also filter your view to only show specific services:
Tap the Services filter to select one (e.g., Anal Gland Expression).
Tap the Groups filter to view service categories (e.g., De-shedding).
This helps you quickly check how many of a certain type of appointment are scheduled, useful for planning breaks or managing specialised services.
Custom Settings & Support
Calendar durations and service settings can be customised.
These are typically set up during onboarding, but our team can update them for you at any time.
