Understanding the Dashboard

Created by Onboarding Specialist, Modified on Mon, 14 Apr at 9:52 AM by Onboarding Specialist

The Dashboard is your home base when you first log in to FurFlow. It gives you a real-time overview of your salon’s key activities—messages, appointments, tasks, revenue, and more—all in one central location.

What Can I See on the Dashboard?

Your Dashboard is designed to keep you focused on what matters most each day. Here's what you'll find:

Total Unread Messages

At the top of your Dashboard, you’ll see how many messages need a response. This count includes all messages from your integrated platforms, such as:

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • Google My Business

  • Email

  • SMS

No more checking multiple apps—see who’s waiting for a reply first thing each morning.

Appointments

See a snapshot of your current day’s appointment count, plus upcoming appointments. This allows you to:

  • Plan ahead

  • Reach out to clients on your waitlist

  • Fill any gaps in your schedule

Tasks

The Task section displays your team’s to-do list at a glance. Tasks can be:

  • Pending

  • Completed

  • All

You can also see:

  • Due dates

  • Who tasks are assigned to

  • Task status

Great for team management—assign cleaning duties, follow-ups, or other salon tasks easily.

Revenue Trends

Track your income with the built-in Revenue Trend chart. See how your earnings compare:

  • Week-over-week

  • Month-over-month

  • Against your targets

This chart pulls data from your integrated payment system (e.g., Square or Stripe), broken down by product or service.

Customising Your Dashboard

You can customise your Dashboard to better suit your business:

  1. Click Edit at the top right.

  2. Select Add Widget.

  3. Browse available widgets—like call tracking, emails, visitor data, or customer trends.

  4. Click to add, then hit Save.

Widgets will appear at the bottom of your Dashboard. Don’t want one? Click the three dots on the widget and select Delete.

A Note About Test Accounts

If your Dashboard looks empty at first, don’t worry! It pulls live data from the rest of the platform. Once you start using FurFlow, your Dashboard will update automatically.

Why the Dashboard Matters

  • Start your day with clarity

  • Know what needs action right away

  • Keep your team accountable

  • Track performance over time
